With a passion for creativity and style, as well as personal development and spirituality, Miriam Nichterlein is representative for of a new wave of twenty something creatives seeking to create change in the world through their art.
After briefly working in interior design and wholesale fashion, it was at make up college that Miriam realised her greatest satisfaction came from using her creative talent and style savvy to transform others, and create positive perceptions of themselves. After completing make up training at the prestigious 3 Arts College in Sydney, Miriam began to work as an assistant to some of Australia’s leading make up artists. It was here she really honed her skills as a make up artist as she observed and worked with artists of the highest caliber at magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Cleo, GQ and Harpers Bazaar. From here Miriam began working on her own projects and gaining her own clients. Most recently Miriam has had her work featured in the U.S edition of Nylon Magazine, worked with MTV host and Maybeline New York representative Ruby Rose.
Throughout her career Miriam has maintained a steady and loyal clientele of private clients and brides, and at the heart of Miriam’s love of make up and fashion has always been a love of showing women their own beauty. Miriam has a deep understanding of the power of make up in lifting one’s spirit, and shifting perceptions, both of others and of oneself.
